Today is Taylor Swift's 28th birthday. Yes, it was on December 13, 1989, Taylor Alison Swift was born into the world and it was at 16 years old she started to really take the music world by storm. Life really hasn't been the same since Taylor dropped her first album back in 2006. She's given us six albums (plus a Christmas record too) and a lifetime of lyrics we'll always be able to recite and melodies we won't ever be able to get out of our heads.

In honor of Taylor's day of birth, we just had to take a listen to every single one of her songs yet again. Yes, we have a playlist, OK? And honestly, just take a moment to truly admire her work as a songwriter. She will always be the girl with her guitar writing songs in her room to many of us and she's given her fans songs that have become a major part of the soundtrack of their lives over the years. Taylor co-writes all of her songs/is the only writer on some tracks and let us never forget how she wrote the entirety of her Speak Now album all on her own, without anyone else. Legendary.
