Yesterday was a really sad day for Jonas Brothers fans — especially because the guys didn't get a super good reason why they decided to call it quits. Luckily on their Good Morning America interview this morning, they came clean about why they thought it was time to go their separate ways.
Although Kevin Jonas said "it was time" and the guys are "family first," Nick Jonas was a little more descriptive, saying "[we're] best suited to do our own individual things.”
We're sure fans would disagree, but Joe Jonas chimed in, saying their music was "getting stale," but from what we could gather, these guys love being brothers, but really wanted to break apart from each other and take their careers in different directions for a change.
So what's next for the guys? Kevin is more interested in the "business side" of the industry, Nick wants to make his own music and do a little more theater and Joe is also interested in pursuing his own music and acting career.
As for the music that was supposed to come out, they're going to release the four songs they already had recorded, and according to Nick, they might not be apart forever — hopefully there's a JoBro reunion in the future!
