We are still in shock that Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have ended their six year relationship via Instagram on Friday. Now insiders have come forward to say exactly what went wrong in their relationship. Eeek!
A source told E! News, "It had turned into more of a big brother-little sister kind of relationship. The romance wasn't what it used to be."
The source continued, "That said, Wilmer is still very protective of her. He did a lot for her — not just in terms of being there for her when she had her health issues, but really helping build her brand and launch her product lines. You never saw him out in front though. He never tried to ride her fame. He was very close to her family. I don't expect that will change. There was a lot of love there."
Another insider revealed, "They love each other but aren't in love anymore. They are really great friends which they'll continue to be but the romance sort of died."
It’s so sad that Demi and Wilmer didn’t work out, but we love that they will remain friends. There is clearly a lot of love shared between these two. Best of luck to you both!
