If you’re as much of a Harry Potter fan as we are here, then you might juuuust about be getting over how incredible Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was last November (Eddie Redmayne, please marry us now.)

We’re still suffering Hogwarts withdrawal a year later, tbh, so when we found out the news last night that not one but TWO new Hazza P books were in the pipelines, we couldn’t quite believe it. As if JK Rowling hadn’t blessed us with enough fizzing whizbees, golden snitches and Crumple-Horned Snorkacks in her time, she’s now bringing out the two extra nuggets of magic in honor of Harry’s 20th Anniversary. (We know, 20. They grow up so fast!)

The first book is titled, Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of The Exhibition, and apparently, it goes into detail about all the subjects taught at Hogwarts. We’re talking, "why is Potions so hard?" and "what do you actually learn in Care of Magical Creatures?" (You know, all that essential information for when you finally receive your Hogwarts acceptance owl, which has obviously just been delayed in the post.)

This will be us one day, we're sure of it. The second is called Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic, and will be a bit broader, with a focus “from alchemy to unicorns, ancient witchcraft, to Hogwarts.” OMG. This is all too much.

You can grab both titles in October, and they’ll be accompanying a Harry Potter EXHIBITION at The British Library, titled A History of Magic, which also looks seriously good. Expect medieval descriptions of dragons and griffins, the origins of the Philosopher’s Stone and an unbelievable range of wizarding books and magical objects. Jheeez. Calling all Potterheads, this is not a drill.
