Hey J-14ers,

Last night I got to check out We The Kings perform a few songs for their record release party! It was held at the Red Bull Space in NYC's SoHo neighborhood, Smile, Kid just dropped on Tuesday, and they had some awesome guests there to support them -- Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and American Idol's David Cook were both rocking out to We The Kings' songs!

One of my fave parts of the set was when Travis performed "In-N-Out (Animal Style) off the new record. He asked anybody in the crowd if they'd been to the In-N-Out restaurants, and almost no one responded! I won't lie, Travis - we're deprived of In-N-Out Burger and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf here in the Northeast! They ended the night with "Check Yes, Juliet" -- not only do I love that tune, Travis told me that it's one of Taylor Swift's fave songs too! Now we just need a Taylor Swift/We The Kings collab to complete everything!

The boys were super nice after the set, saying hello to fans who were there and taking tons of pics. I was just psyched to finally hear them play live! It was definitely a good night.

Have you heard the new We The Kings album yet? What do you think?
