After throwing shade at Little Mix, Zayn Malik has turned on Taylor Swift! The former One Direction singer retweeted a shady statement, showing support for Miley Cyrus at the expense of the 1989 pop star.
In the tweet, the "Shake It Off" singer is quoted talking about how Spotify could hurt music sales, while the "Wrecking Ball" singer opens up about starting her Happy Hippie Foundation.
"I've made my money. If no one buys my album, cool. It's fine. I've got a house, and I've got dogs that I love. I don't need anything else," Miley says.
The original author of the tweet attached the pop stars' statements side-by-side, commenting, "The difference is astounding."
By retweeting it, he's basically calling out Taylor for being greedy! Guess he's taking Miley's side in their pop star beef?
However, we wonder if he's just upset that the Keds model brought Little Mix on stage during her The 1989 World Tour performance this weekend. Perrie Edwards does look really happy.
While we do understand the point that Zayn was trying to make, we also understand Taylor's decision to pull her music off Spotify. She was to hoping to set a precedent for music streaming that would help out smaller artists too. Still, we're kind of shocked that he was retweeting such shade. He's going to start some drama in the fandom!
