Wouldn’t it be amazing if everyone lived in a world where their favorite TV shows never ended? That would seriously be a dream come true. But unfortunately, every series is bound to come to an end at some point, and when it does, it’s always heartbreaking.

Especially when it comes to Disney Channel series like Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana, Jessie, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That’s So Raven, Austin & Ally and others. These shows were all a huge part of fan’s childhoods, so when they concluded, it was seriously the end of an era.

So much joy led up to watching our favorite shows, from commercials of the cast, to looking forward to singing along to the tune of every intro. I mean what is better than Selena Gomez‘s “Well, you know everything’s gonna be a breeze? That the end will no doubt justify the means / You can fix any problem at the slightest ease?” Yes, please.

But alas, all good things must come to an end. Whether it’s Hannah Montana taking her wig off one last time, or Alex Russo and her brothers fighting at the Wizard Competition to become the family Wizard, we all know it’s coming. And it’s not just hard on fans, but also the actors who have played our beloved characters for so long.

On Hannah Montana‘s fifteenth anniversary in March 2021, Miley Cyrus wrote a letter to her alter ego which she posted on Instagram and Twitter. “Although you are considered to be an ‘alter ego’ in reality, there was a time in my life when you held more of my identity in your glovette than I did in my bare hands,” she wrote. “Hannah, I hope you hear me and believe those words are true. You have all my love and utmost gratitude. Breathing life into you for those six years was an honor.” We’re not crying, you are.

But how exactly did they wrap things up? Since it’s been a while since the shows ended, fans may have forgotten exactly what happened in the series finales.
