These two were just teenagers when they starred in the classic movie, A Walk to Remember. Years later, devoted fans were still hoping for a reunion. Well, the stars have aligned because the day has finally come. Mandy and Shane got together last night after the Super Bowl and the whole thing was documented on social media, naturally!
Mandy posted this photo on Instagram with the caption, "Welp. These 2 gentlemen are still some of the best around. Loved catching up with ya, @theshanewest and @adamshankman. My ❤ is full. #awalktoremember #reunion."
Shane posted the same photo with the message, "Last night after the SuperBowl, I got to see these two wonderful people..... @adamshankman @mandymooremm Had to steal the pic, Hun 😘 #awalktoremember #reunion."
Aww! This is seriously amazing. The photo might be a bit dark so it's important to point out that these two weren't alone. Mandy and Shane reunited with the director of the movie as well, Adam Shankman. Adam got in on the social media madness letting the world know just how happy he was to be back with the flick's co-stars.
He posted this photo on Instagram with the caption, "Over 3 hour catch up dinner with @mandymooremm and @theshanewest . After 15 years their love is still like the wind: i cant see it but i will always feel it. Love u guys soooo much. #awtrreunion #AWalkToRemember #proudpapa."
Our hearts are melting! This all comes on the heels of Mandy giving more and more background information about her days on the set of A Walk to Remember. She spilled the news a couple weeks ago that she actually fell in love with Shane while they were filming. Of course, that sent fans wild. Before that, she revealed in an interview that she and Shane had been in contact and were hoping to get together some day.
It's pretty cool that even with their busy schedules they found the time to see each other in real life. We have a feeling they might not appear in another movie together but these photos are enough! Their love will clearly never die.
