Let’s get one thing straight — Aaron Carter does not like to be compared to Justin Bieber. In a new clip from an upcoming episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition, the singer got pretty upset when his mom, Jane, suggested he didn’t work as hard as the “Love Yourself” crooner.
“I didn’t get a chance to get raised. Even back then, all I was doing was shows. I was doing tour after tour after tour after tour,” he said, with his mom adding, “I don’t think it was that much. You weren’t a Justin Bieber.”
The “I Want Candy” crooner was definitely not happy with his mom’s statement, and he quickly slammed the 25-year-old singer.
“Thank you, that means a lot. I’m not Justin Bieber. I’m a piece of s–t. I f–king paved the way for that kid. He copied my hairstyle!” Aaron exclaimed. “Guess what? No, I am no Justin Bieber, I’m Aaron Carter.”
Justin was quick to reply to the star’s comments, writing on Instagram, “Bold move with the face tats I respect it. But the paved the way thing is hmmm.”
As fans know, the two stars have had their fair share of drama in the past. Back in 2018, Aaron replied to a fan that questioned why he “never reached the level of success” that Justin did.
“I can’t sit here and just not say anything to that. I’ve been in this industry before he was born. I’ve had harder times and always bounce back. No I’m not Justin Bieber I’m Aaron Carter,” he tweeted at the time. “I’m also in construction, I paved the way. These kids have NEVER paid me homage.”

“Aaron Carter I had your album when I was little and bumped the song ‘Aaron’s Party,'” Justin responded in a tweet. “I was like 7. If you need a hype man, I got you.”

“I was never a radio artist. Ever. But somehow I sold even more records even to this day still than Justin Bieber,” Aaron also claimed in while speaking on the “Allegedly” podcast in 2017. Ouch.
