TikTok star Addison Rae wants her fans to know that no, fame did not change her! She just clapped back at people who claimed she “dropped” her friends after she started to receive attention online, and she was not here for their comments.

So it all started after one of the social media star’s old pals from high school, named Gracie, posted a video to TikTok that contained tons of throwback pics and clips of them hanging out. But when people started to slam Addison online for not keeping up with her old companions, she responded and set the record straight.

“Saying I changed and dropped old friends knowing nothing, I flew my best friend from high school to Los Angeles this year,” she wrote in a comment, which was screenshotted and reposted by the Instagram account TikTok room.

“Gracie and I had a great friendship. Through another relationship. And after the breakup we still talk,” the star continued in another series of comments. “Also, I moved from where she lived to go to college four hours away. You tell me if you hangout with everyone from high school.”

The influencer added in one final message, “We had a close friendship though my relationship where she was family, after the breakup we still were friends. I flew my best friend to LA this year and was a bridesmaid in my high school best friend’s wedding. Once you graduate high school and move away to college, life changes.”

“When I moved to college no one from high school reached out to me… When I moved to LA though, everyone started to… Weird,” she concluded.

Previously, the 19-year-old opened up about her time in school, and she said she was branded the “Kissing Bandit” because she would smooch so many guys!

“Dad always calls me the ‘Kissing Bandit’ because in middle school I liked to kiss boys,” she said to her mom, Sheri, during a recent episode of her new podcast, “Mama Knows Best.” “I would just literally peck everyone, it was the weirdest thing, I was just crazy. Maybe like three boys, I kissed in middle school, which I guess was pretty crazy because I was like, 13. It was all fun, you know? Like, ‘Woo, I kissed a boy!’”
