After fans were quick to notice that Addison Rae‘s TikTok account was seemingly “banned due to multiple Community Guidelines violations,” the social media star took to Twitter on Friday, August 14, and told fans that her profile had apparently been hacked.

“My TikTok is hacked,” the 19-year-old wrote in a message to followers, alongside a sad face.

According to a screenshot posted on the Instagram account, TikTok Room, the apparent hacker changed Addison’s username and bio. Shortly after the information was altered, the app temporarily banned her profile.

A few hours later, a few eagle eyed followers noticed that her TikTok account had been restored. Addison then returned to Twitter, and noticed that she was trending due to her TikTok account being temporarily taken down, and posted resources for followers to educate themselves and donate following the recent explosion in Beirut.

“Since I’m trending, everyone click this!” she wrote.

As fans know, this isn’t the first time Addison has unfortunately had a hacker situation. Back in May, she responded after her mom, Sheri Easterling‘s social media accounts were compromised. At the time, Addison told fans to “disregard” any messages posted from her mom’s accounts after inappropriate videos and messages were posted to her Instagram and TikTok. The hackers allegedly posted racist tweets, posts bodyshaming Addison and links promoting their own accounts.

Addison also took to TikTok with her family members and posted a video, which she captioned, “When your privacy is stolen from you and your personal information is broadcasted to the world wide web.”

Sheri also offered an apology to fans following the incident.

“I’m just so upset and so sorry,” her alleged Twitter post read. “What gets to me the most is thinking of anyone that watched the live feed and the horrible things that were seen. That thought right there stays with me and makes me so uneasy and nauseous. I’m just so, so sorry.”
