TikTok star Addison Rae is really not here for people hating on her body. Yep, the influencer just clapped back at a nasty internet troll who called her “fat,” and her response was everything.
“Just realized how fat Addison Rae is. The rolls… Glad I cannot relate,” the hater wrote in a tweet.
“Rolls are just as normal as anything else on the stomach. Love your body! Your body is unique and beautiful,” the 19-year-old responded.
As fans know, she’s not the only social media star to address her haters online. Back in April, Charli D’Amelio urged people to stop talking about her body online.
“STOP TALKING ABOUT MY BODY! It’s not your place to tell me if I’m losing weight or gaining weight,” she wrote in a series of tweets on April 27, 2020. “Why don’t we all just be respectful and understand that we should just be kind and uplift everyone instead of trying to bring others down. I’ve seen these videos about me my friends and complete strangers but it doesn’t matter who you’re doing it to.”
The brunette beauty later opened up about why she likes to clap back at the nasty internet trolls.
“I do try to talk about it as much as I can. A lot of people are afraid to. I feel the more I talk about it, the more normalized it is for people to open about their feelings,” she told People Magazine, when asked about why she is so honest about how much the negative attention effects her. “If I’m talking about it and they know that this bothers me and they are going through a similar thing, maybe at school, just showing people that it’s okay to have feelings. It’s okay to not be 100 percent all the time.”
She added, “When you do discuss it, you tend to get more [hate]. But at the same time, there are people who reach out to me with stories of how they are struggling through similar issues. It brings a lot of people together, and that’s what I do it for.”
