We are all very excited for the film The 5th Wave to be released! And, actor Alex Roe exclusively spoke to J-14 about how he feels being a part of the Sci-Fi movie!
When we asked Alex how he felt about being a part of the film, the actor was very candid about his excitement to be in the movie playing Evan Walker alongside Chloe Grace Moretz, and spoke about what he loves about the character.
"I love that he's just a regular guy," said Alex exclusively to J-14. "He grew up in a farm, he's dealing with the same things as Cassie (Chloe Grace Moretz) is in the movie, such as the loss of his family and everything he knows. I love that he's a survivor."
The actor also said he was thankful for getting the role and for a special person that has always been his main inspiration.
"My mom definitely inspired me," said Alex. "She's a very determined woman and I look up to her massively."
Aww! We can't wait to see the movie and think it's so sweet that Alex looks up to his mother!
