Congratulations are in order for America Ferrera! The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star just revealed that she welcomed her second child with husband Ryan Piers Williams last week, and we couldn’t be happier for her!
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, May 10, the actress shared the exciting news that she had given birth to a baby girl named Lucia Marisol Williams.
“Lucia Marisol Williams arrived on May 4 to give me my Mother’s Day hugs and kisses herself,” she wrote, alongside an adorable snap of her newborn’s tiny fingers. “Mama, dada and big brother are over the moon to welcome her bright light to our family.”
The brunette beauty also urged her followers, friends and family to donate to Yes We Can Mobile Schools — an organization designed to help moms and children at the border with learning, playing and staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

For those who forgot, the couple first announced that they were expecting another baby together back in January.
“Welcoming baby number two in 2020!” the 36-year-old captioned a photo which showed her husband and their 23-month-old son, Sebastian Piers Williams, cradling her baby bump. “Happy New Year from our wild and growing bunch.”
“So much to look forward to in 2020, but one thing in particular sticks out!” Ryan added on his Instagram page. “Can’t wait to welcome another beautiful creature into this world. Happy New Years!”
As fans know, America and the 38-year-old actor met while she was studying at the University of Southern California. They became engaged in 2010, and tied the knot one year later, in June 2011. They welcomed their first child, Sebastian, in May 2018. Congrats to the new parents!
