It’s that time of year again! The American Music Awards show is back for 2017, and this time it’s filled to the brim with all of your favorite stars. This year’s lineup has all different types of music. The one thing they have in common is that we all spent 2017 jamming to them!

What channel is the American Music Awards on? Here’s how to watch the AMAs on TV:

The live broadcast of the AMAs begins at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. Check your local listings for the exact channel number in your area. For those of you who prefer a laptop to a flat screen, there are options to watch online, too!

Where can you watch the American Music Awards online?

On the go? You can watch ABC live online at abc.go.com/watch-live. The AMAs will be broadcasted there just like all their other content is. All it takes is your cable provider login.

No login means no problem, if you don’t mind watching along later! You won’t be able to catch the award show live on this website without a cable provider login, but episodes show up on the site one week after they air for everyone to watch.

Maybe that’s a little too long to wait and see BTS tear up the stage. In the past, the AMAs have been added to Hulu the day after the live show. There’s no guarantee that this will happen again, but we can hope!

Who is performing at the AMAs?

The AMAs is more of a concert with an awards show happening in the background. BTS, Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Imagine Dragons & Khalid, Demi Lovato and P!NK are all on the slate to perform. Demi and Selena on one stage? We have to admit, we’re hoping for another reunion! Plus, Sel always brings the house down with her performances. Her 2014 AMAs rendition of the Justin Bieber-inspired track “The Heart Wants What It Wants” brought her (and us!) to tears.

But that’s not even the full list! Hailee Steinfeld, Alesso, Florida Georgia Line, Zedd, Alessia Cara, Watt, and Portugal, The Man, will also be taking center stage. Some are old faves, like Zedd, while others just popped up this year. Yet, we still can’t get “Feel It Still” by Portugal, The Man out of our heads.

That’s (still) not all! In another wave of announcements, Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, and Nick Jonas will all take the stage.

These current faves will rock the house, but two icons of yesterday are guaranteed to bring it down. Christina Aguilera will perform a heart-wrenching tribute to Whitney Houston and Diana Ross is giving a rare performance. This year’s American Music Awards are already iconic.

Who is hosting the AMAs?

ABC has confirmed that Tracee Ellis Ross from Blackish will host the awards show. Her mom, Diana Ross, is receiving a Lifetime Achievement at the show, so it will be an especially poignant night.

Who is nominated for American Music Awards?

Speaking of icons, some of your faves are hoping that they’ll go home with a coveted AMA. The hardest part is deciding who to root for!

How to vote for the American Music Awards:

Now that you know who’s up for the win, here’s how you can help. The American Music Awards are the biggest fan-voted award show. Three of the most important categories aren’t up to some mysterious panel – it’s up to you!

First, head to the website! Then, choose which category to vote for. The categories Collaboration of the Year, Artist of the Year, and New Artist of the Year are totally yours to decide.

There’s one small catch: you have to sign up or log in through Facebook for them to count your vote. Once you’ve done that, you can vote for you choice one more time by tweeting or just move on to the next category. Then, tune in Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST to see if your favorite musician takes home the prize.
