Hearing exes say nice things about each other is certainly not something you see every day, and is especially rare in Hollywood. Andrew Garfield is the exception. The actor has revealed in his latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he still love his ex girlfriend Emma Stone, and not only that, but that she would choose her out of any actress/actor in the world to be stuck with on a stranded island.

"You're on a desert island and can have one actor or actress with you. Who?"

His answer? "Emma Stone. I love Emma. She's all right. She can come."

Emma appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine recently, and she also talked candidly about her relationship of four years with the actor. When they asked about him since they had been spotted hanging out over the summer, she confessed to the magazine her true feelings about Andrew saying he is, "Someone I still love very much" but that she was surely single.

"It's been interesting. It's been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons," she said about being single this year.

And although the actress wouldn't go further than that when asked to elaborate, sources revealed that the couple had broken up due to "conflicting schedules" in October of last year after they dated for four years.

"There is definitely still love for each other there. They remain close and are on good terms," a source told E! News soon after their breakup.

The ex-couple met on the set for The Amazing Spider-Man in 2010, and he even said the connection to her was almost instantly during the audition period.

"We got on really well as people, in between [takes]. That was the fun stuff: In between, we'd just mess around, and I felt, 'Ah, this is different.' I wasn't really aware what was happening in the screen test. She keeps you on your toes, and that wakes you up. That was the beginning," he told Teen Vogue when they were both on the publication's cover.

"It was like I woke up when she came in… It was like diving into whitewater rapids and having no desire to hang onto the side. Throughout shooting, it was wild and exciting."

They were both in longterm relationships when they first met so they didn't start dating until the following year.

"I've learned a lot by being around him. And you know, he is an incredibly important person to me. It's been fun working with him just because of who he is as an actor and person," she said during a previous interview with Vogue.

The couple seems to admire each other equally and think highly of each other, and even though they are not together right now because their careers are thriving, maybe sometime down the line their paths will cross again.
