Get ready for the collab of the century, you guys. Yeah, you might want to brace yourselves because Ariana Grande and BLACKPINK may be teaming up for a brand new song! The ladies just dropped a major hint that they’re working together, and we’re seriously freaking out.
OK, so let us explain. Producer Tommy Brown, who has worked with the “Dangerous Woman” songstress on some of her biggest hits, posted a picture of himself and the K-pop group hanging out on Wednesday, August 7.
And when Ariana left a comment on the pic, it had everyone thinking that they were collaborating! She commented with a bunch of black hearts, sending the internet into a frenzy.
And that’s not all. It was her manager, Scooter Braun‘s message that truly got us. He commented with the eyes emoji, which is pretty suspicious, if you ask us.
OMG. They’re two of our favorite artists, so if they did release a song together, it would seriously be a dream come true. For those of you who don’t know, Tommy has produced a ton of the former Victorious star’s songs, including “7 Rings,” “Thank U, Next,” Needy,” NASA,” “Goodnight N Go” and more.
And it turns out, Ariana and BLACKPINK actually hung out back in April. Ari shared a snap with the ladies to her Instagram account, and boy, was it epic seeing them together. The singer even tweeted in July that she really wanted to work with the girl band.
“Quick question, would you ever collab with BLACKPINK?” a fan asked her, to which she replied, “Yes. But I would probably pass out.”

As fans know, BLACKPINK, made up of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, released their first single back in August 2016. And since then, they’ve dropped four amazing albums, and each one is completely filled with bops, if you ask us. They previously collaborated with Dua Lipa on their track, “Kiss and Make Up.”
This seriously needs to happen, like, now!
