Is Ariana Grande OK? That seems to be the question on everyone’s minds after the singer announced she was canceling her concert in Lexington, KY on Sunday, November 17 due to a “scary” illness. Now, the “Dangerous Woman” songstress is giving fans an important update on her health.

It all started on Saturday, November 16, when the 26-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to let fans know that she wasn’t feeling well.

“I’ve been sick since the last London show. I don’t know how it’s possible but my throat and head are still in so much pain. I sound okay, I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show,” she wrote. “I am seeing my doctor and trying my very best to get better for tomorrow’s show. The last thing I would ever want to do is cancel a show at this point with so few left. I’m truly cherishing every moment of this… I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out. Please take this as a gentle heads up… I don’t know anyone to feel blindsided tomorrow if God forbid I can’t make the show happen.”

“I’m on all the meds, getting IV drips, doing everything I possibly can to pull through. Mom and friends are taking good care of me, just a scary feeling,” she continued. “Love you with all my heart and will keep you posted.”

Then, in another update on Saturday night, Ariana admitted that she “still couldn’t swallow or lift her head.”

“Medicated af and hoping to wake up better,” she added. “Seeing doctor again in [the morning] and will let you know about show. I’m so sorry again. It’s catching up to me I guess.”

The brunette beauty also shared a a video of herself using a steamer to help her breathe regularly.

“Sorry for the anxious updates and for over-sharing, I just don’t want anyone not aware of what’s going on ahead of time,” she wrote alongside the clip. “You know I push through and hide things as often as I can / as well as I can when I’m sick, and wouldn’t say something unless it were really tough.”

But, I, unfortunately, don’t think I will be able to push through tonight. I am so sad and sorry. I’m so upset but of course obviously, you will be refunded.”

“I’m just really devastated,” she added, as she broke down in tears. “Thank you for understanding and sending love. I will keep you posted as soon as I know what is going on with my body. Thank you for understanding and I am so sorry.”

“Thank you for your kindness and love. Wish I were with you today more than anything. You have no idea,” she wrote on Twitter. “Crying. I can’t tell you how much I love and appreciate you all or like effectively express what a blessing it is to have you in my life.”
