As we all know, Ariana Grande has been through a lot over the last several years. Between the tragedy that struck her concert in Manchester in May 2017 and the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September 2018, the pop star has had a lot to cope with, and her recent brain scan definitely reflects that.

ICYMI, the “Thank U, Next” songstress shared the images from her brain scan on her Instagram Stories, which shows her brain side-by-side with a “healthy” brain. TBH, there’s a pretty clear difference between the two, which just goes to show that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can have devastating effects on the vital organ. See?

“Hilarious and terrifying,” she captioned the image. “… not a joke.”

Clearly, Ariana truly suffers with PTSD, and after all that she’s been through it’s not hard to understand why. Luckily, the “God Is a Woman” singer has a ton of supportive fans, and after seeing the brain scan for themselves, they’ve hit up social media to send her their love.

One fan tweeted, “@arianagrande I’ve just seen your brain scan pictures. I’m from Manchester and I can honestly say you are loved here. I’m so sorry you and the others went through what you did. You are inspirationally strong and will adore you as a person forever.” Aw!

“Take care baby girl,” another fan wrote. “those brain scans look terrifying and I want you to go easy on [yourself].”

Honestly, taking a little time for herself definitely wouldn’t hurt, but the 25-year-old pop star is showing no signs of slowing down. Right now, for example, she’s on her Sweetener World Tour, and she has dates scheduled through the middle of October.

Like you, we’re super concerned for Ari — especially after seeing the brain scans for ourselves. PTSD has clearly made a strong impact on her mental health, but we have to trust that she knows what’s best for her in the end. We’re here for you, Ariana!
