Best Movies Airing During Freeform's 13 Nights of Halloween

The month of October is more than halfway done and that means we're one step closer to Halloween and what's better than watching tons of Halloween movies to get you in the spirit of dressing up, bobbing for apples and wearing a cool costume? Good thing we have Freeform's 13 Nights of Halloween to help us out too, since every day through Oct. 31, there are going to be tons of movies airing that some of the all-time best. Well, of course, we just had to round up a list of all our fave Halloween movies for you, and yes, some of them will be airing on Freeform during this two-week extravaganza so you'll have plenty of chances to watch. Hocus Pocus

Is there anything better than a guy, his little sister, his crush and a talking cat trying to stop the Sanderson Sister witches from trying to suck the souls out of all the kids in Salem to get you in the Halloween spirit? Nope. It's a CLASSIC movie that everyone needs to see at least once in their lives. Need to be able to sing along to "I Put a Spell On You" obviously.

Halloweentown

This Disney Channel Original Movie was the first of four movies in the series but nothing compares to the OG film that started it all. Meeting the coolest grandma ever, Aggie Cromwell, as she introduced Marnie and her siblings to this magical world they never even knew existed after the sneak their way onto that magical bus never gets old.

Casper

Casper is yes, the friendliest ghost you'll ever meet and even though this movie came out in 1995, it's still a go-to during this time of year. Kat has to cope with moving to a rather creepy looking mansion with her dad and tries to make new friends, with Casper being the only person who gets her. When they finally get to dance together at Kat's party when Casper gets to be human for a few minutes and he delivers that "Can I keep you" line, well it's the quickest way to warm your heart right up in-between eating tons of mini chocolate bars.

Corpse Bride

It's a love triangle story with a twist. Victor is set to marry Victoria but when he practices his wedding vows in the woods and places the ring down, a literal corpse bride named Emily rises up from the dead and says they're married now. OK, sure Em. Well, things get complicated for everyone but by the end of the movie, there's a bit of a heartbreakingly sweet twist and Victor ends up with the woman he was meant to be with.

Hotel Transylvania

Any Halloween movie that features the voice talents of Selena Gomez as a vampire is one you can't help but love. And with this hilarious animated movie telling the story of her character Mavis falling in love with a human, despite everything her dad Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) does to try and stop this from happening, it's one you can watch at any age with no shame. Bleh, bleh, bleh forever.

Beetlejuice

If you say his name three times he appears and he's well, more of an obnoxious ghost than a nice friendly one. This movie is all about a family who moves to a house that young ghosts just so happen to be stuck living in as spirits, since it was where they lived before they died. They try to scare out the family that lives there but as you can imagine there are plenty of funny twists and turns that ultimately prove ghosts and humans can get along well if they really want to.
