If you aren’t already, prepare to become obsessed with AwesomenessTV’s new show, VS. For those who missed it, the series — which is part of their “Stay at Home” programming — shows various influencers taking part in fun internet challenges against each other! Wow, sounds intense.

Well guys, on Tuesday, May 5’s episode, brother and sister duo Brent and Lexi Rivera went head to head in what may be the most epic competition ever! We got a chance to chat with Brent about what went down and what it was really like to compete against his sibling, and boy, does it sound like it was intense.

J-14: Tell us about the show — what’s it about?

Brent Rivera: We do fun challenges head to head to see who’s the best sibling.

J-14: Which challenges did you guys take part in?

Brent: We did some funny challenges like “High School Trivia” and a “Gibberish Challenge!”

J-14: What your favorite challenge and why?

Brent: We both really like the “High School Trivia” video.

J-14: What was it like working together on the show? Did things get competitive during it?

Brent: We do content with each other every day so we like to make it fun and interesting.

J-14:Are you guys normally competitive?

Brent: Yes we are.

J-14: Do you ever fight? If so, about what?

Brent: Yes, but we try to keep it lighthearted.

J-14: How are you staying busy during the coronavirus quarantine?

Brent: We are filming a lot of content at our house, going in our pool and trying to stay active.

J-14: Any tips for ways fans can keep themselves busy and stay positive during this time?

Brent: Exercising, hanging out with family, watching shows and movies are always musts!

J-14: I know you’re super big on YouTube — how do you guys come up with ideas for new videos?

Brent: We do a lot of research on what is popular and we do a lot of brainstorming on fun things to do.

J-14: Who are your favorite YouTubers to watch?

Brent: Definitely other members of our group — Ben Azelart, Lexi Hensler, Andrew Davila, Stokes Twins, Pierson Wodzynski, Dom Brack and Jeremy Hutchins.

That’s not all, you guys. AwesomenessTV announced on Monday, May 4, that two more shows are in the works! The Click (working title) is set to follow several strangers in quarantine from different walks of life as they form new connections, and Date Drop is a new twist on speed dating that takes place entirely over videoconference. Production is underway on both series, with premieres scheduled to roll out in June on the AwesomenessTV YouTube channel.
