It’s been a few months since Brittany Snow officially tied the knot with longtime boyfriend, Tyler Stanaland, but now the Pitch Perfect star is giving fans an inside look at the stunning ceremony. In a series of Instagram posts posted on Wednesday, July 8, the couple finally gave fans a first look at the moment they both said, “I do,” and boy, did it look magical! But that’s not all! The actress also opened up about being “lucky” to get married days before the coronavirus quarantine went into affect.
“Before we knew how much we’d miss hugs and live in our sweatpants, I got to marry my favorite person. The whole world shut down a few days later [and] we were stunned at the timing,” Brittany wrote alongside her wedding photos. “We knew we felt incredibly lucky to have found each other but we had no idea how lucky it would be to get married right before a monumental time in our history. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong that day… but it was absolutely and impossibly perfect. I knew on that day, more than ever before, there was no one else I’d rather hold my hand while in the middle of a (life) hurricane.”
For those who missed it, Brittany and Tyler got married on March 14, 2020, in an outdoor ceremony hosted at Cielo Farms in Malibu, CA, surrounded by close family and friends!
“It was a rainy day and the weather was cold, but it didn’t dampen their spirits,” a source told E! News at the time. “The ceremony was scheduled to be on the lawn, but it had to be moved because of the rain. Instead, they said their vows on a terrace that had been covered. It was beautiful and rustic with white flower arrangements and views of the vineyards on all sides. Brittany and Tyler held hands as they recited their vows with their dog Billie at their sides.”
In his own recently posted Instagram post, Tyler echoed Brittany’s love with some pictures of his own.
He wrote, “Before the world shut down, a small group of our closest family and friends got together to celebrate what was certainly one of the best days of my life. It was cold and rainy but absolute magic. Still in awe I get to call you my wife.”
