BTS has changed so much. From 2 Cool 4 Skool to Love Yourself, so much has happened. There’s been a name change, new music, and so many hair colors! But now, BTS plans on changing the world.

Right before making American television history at the 2017 American Music Awards, BTS stopped to chat with J-14‘s own Liam McEwan. For the boys, Love Yourself is more than just an album name. It’s a way of life and a movement. On the AMAs red carpet, RM explained that love between people is wonderful, but if we want to change the world, we need to start from within. Watch the video above to hear more about BTS’ mission to spread love.

Tbh we’re feeling very much inspired right now. So, it’s not just jams and dance moves for the band. BTS actually partnered with UNICEF on a United Nations program to help women and children in developing countries, in a campaign against violence. Called “Love Myself,” the band pledges to donate thousands of dollars from their album sales and official items. All the money goes to helping children and teens live without fear of violence. That means all the money the Army spent on BTS merch was totally worth it!

BTS may have gone through a few changes over time, but they’ll never lose their big hearts. Of course that’s why the BTS Army couldn’t be prouder of those seven boys! First, they’ll make AMAs history and then world history! All it’ll take is a little more love.
