The time has come: the new BTS album comes out tomorrow, Friday, May 18, 2018, and tbh, pretty much everyone is beyond excited. The upcoming album, titled Love Yourself: Tear, will feature 11 tracks and is the boy band’s third Korean-launguage album. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook sat down with J-14‘s Liam McEwan to discuss the new project, their performance of “Fake Love” at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, their charity work, and so much more! Watch the video above to see our exclusive interview with BTS, as they talk about their album and enjoy our special BTS-themed surprise.

RM explains the message they’re hoping to send with their new “Love Yourself” era. He exclusively tells J-14, “We want to say that if you’re untrue to yourself, the love won’t last. And the love could be between a person and person – but it could be between me and myself.”

Suga continues, “I think it’s not just successful artists – I think anyone with influence should be trying to send out a positive message. If more and more people emit this positive message and positive energy, I think it would be better for the world.”

How beautiful! We can’t wait for their album to finally bless our BTS-loving ears and forever change our lives. And with this new music, also comes a tour – obvs, but still, MAJOR. The boys’ upcoming tour, BTS World Tour: Love Yourself, kicks off in Seoul, South Korea in August. They will then make their first US stop of the tour in Los Angeles in September and will continue to conquer arenas one by one around the rest of the world – stealing hearts, as they always do. Yes, we sure are in the midst of v exciting times for BTS (and the BTS Army, of course).
