The BTS Army is unstoppable and now, they’ve just helped the K-Pop supergroup reach another incredible milestone. BTS’ latest music video for their song “Idol” just broke a record for the YouTube video with the most views in 24 hours. In the first day of its release, “Idol” got 45 million views, which is INSANE and so amazing.

What’s even more impressive is that the BTS boys broke the record that was previously held by the one and only Taylor Swift. Her iconic music for “Look What You Made Me Do” had 43.2 million views in its first day, setting a new record back in 2017.

But now we have BTS to thanks for smashing that number and dethroning Queen Tay. And since Taylor is one of music’s biggest stars and that music video of hers is one the world had been waiting for after she fled the public eye and hadn’t released new music in quite some time, this is something the guys and their fans should be so proud of. Once again, BTS breaking records left and right out here proves not only how loyal their fans are, but that their music is reaching so many people, all around world, which is a major accomplishment.

“Idol” is a song off the group’s latest album, “Love Yourself: Answer”. They’re also set to make history yet again during the 2018 Love Yourself North American Tour, as they will be the first K-Pop group to play in a U.S. stadium. These guys are legit legends, if we say so ourselves. Congrats, BTS! Keep slaying. We’ll be here, v proud.
