It’s been three months since Cameron Boyce tragically passed away, and now, a new TV show starring the late Disney star has aired. The show, which is called Mrs. Fletcher and was filmed before his heartbreaking death, premiered on October 28, 2019, and seeing and hearing the actor on TV screens again was seriously so emotional.

The HBO comedy series also stars Kathryn Hahn and Jackson White, and is about a woman named Mrs. Eve Fletcher, who decides she wants to rediscover herself after her son heads to college. Cameron plays her son’s college roommate, Zach. At the time of his death, the show’s writer and executive producer, Tom Perrotta, released a statement.

“Everyone involved with Mrs. Fletcher is shocked and heartbroken by the news of Cameron’s passing. He was only 20 — way too young — but he was an extraordinarily gifted and seasoned actor, and a lovely, soulful human being,” the statement read. “I’m sure I speak for the entire cast and crew when I say that he was a wonderful friend and colleague, and will be sorely missed by all of us. We send our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.”

As fans know, the Jessie star was only 20 years old when he sadly passed away on July 6, 2019, after having a seizure in his sleep. He suffered from a medical condition called epilepsy. His death came just weeks before he was set to appear in the third installment of the Descendants movies, which aired on August 2, 2019.

Before his tragic death, the 20-year-old also filmed a movie called Runt, which doesn’t have a release date just yet. According to Entertainment Weekly, Cameron plays an unpopular 17-year-old boy named Cal, who is trying to graduate and get out of his home town as quickly as possible. The actor is also set to star in the TV show Paradise City, where he plays an aspiring singer named Simon.
