After dropping her first solo single “Crying in the Club” it’s clear that Camila Cabello is ready to take the world by storm with her new album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., which will be dropping in just a couple of months.

When exactly? Although Camila wasn’t able to provide fans with an exact date, she was able to confirm the month. “I think it’s going to be September, around September,” she revealed in an interview with AMP Radio.

As the singer mentioned before, this new album will be about her losing touch with who she was and the journey to finding herself again. She opened up about the writing process and how she was able to slip away from who she really was by admitting, “I feel like, for a long time, I didn’t really know how to deal with the emotions that I was feeling and the hurt that I was feeling and I felt like I was just trying to be numb and to pretend that everything was fine so I didn’t have to feel it as much.”

“I feel like I was at the hurting kind of like at the beginning of the year…I was at the hurting for a while and then went into the healing, I feel like a few months ago or a couple months ago. And now I feel like I’m at the loving,” she continued to say.

Of course many fans are speculating that some of those challenging moments in the last year have to do with her leaving Fifth Harmony. Although she didn’t discuss that particular moment in her career, it’s safe to say that both Camila and 5H have clearly moved on.

CC1 is almost here and if her first single is any indication, this new chapter of her career is definitely going to be epic.
