Love is certainly in the air for former Hey Monday singer, and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope, and a major congratulations is in order for her and her beau.
The singer just revealed on Instagram, that she is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Rian Dawson – who some of you may recognize as the drummer for the rock band All Time Low.
After seven years together, Rian decided to pop the question just two days before The Grammy’s, where coincidently enough Cassadee is nominated for the best country duo/group performance award. The nomination is for her song, “Think of You” which also featured country artist Chris Young.
Switching over to country music is definitely quite a departure from her days as a singer in a pop punk band.
Going back to Cassadee and Rian, for certain, we know The Grammy’s is where the two are going to make their official debut as an engaged couple and probably show off the ring during a few red-carpet interviews too.
Circling back to the engagement ring, Cassadee and Rian shared the same picture on their social media accounts, which was of the two sharing a sweet kiss and the gorgeous diamond ring is of course being shown off perfectly.
Cassadee captioned the picture, “WE'RE ENGAGED ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.”
Rian on the other hand, went for a little bit more of a lengthy caption and wrote, “The love of my life is now OFFICIALLY the love of my life. Never been happier. 🙂 .”
We couldn’t be happier for the couple, and can’t wait to see if the two are going to tie the knot this year or take their time in planning a very special wedding.
