Have you ever wondered what it would be like if a different actor starred in one of your favorite movies or TV shows? That idea may not be too far-fetched. Especially since some of your fave celebrities like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were actually offered lead roles that they decided to turn down.
Teen Wolf actor Tyler Hoechlin was offered the role of Emmett Cullen in Twilight before Kellan Lutz made the cut, but decided to turn it down to pursue his dream of becoming a professional baseball player.

“The last time when I was in a situation where I had to pick between baseball and acting, I turned down a role in Twilight,” he revealed. “I would have played Edward’s brother.”
Eventually, Tyler's coach made him decide between the acting and baseball, and the rest is history.
“I miss it for sure, there’s no getting around it. I don’t think there’s anyone who plays baseball for that long who can just walk away and not have part of themselves with the game and love everything about it," he admitted. "I get to live vicariously through it now.”
