Doing interviews can be a lot of fun for celebrities, but one look at their recorded conversations will tell you that it's not always a pleasant experience. After all, no one likes to feel pressured into sharing details about their personal life.

However, on the bright side, stars like Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have given the perfect comebacks to remind everyone that they can't be messed with!

Ariana Grande

On his show, Ryan brought up the fact that Ariana shared a photo of herself with Mac Miller on Instagram. He then tried to get her to open up about their relationship status, but Ariana quickly put him in his place.

"If I post something, that's what I'm willing to share at that moment," she said. "That doesn't mean then you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners are entitled to more information."

Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall

When the interviewer asked them why Jesy wasn't wearing her engagement ring, Jade literally grabbed his notes, crumpled them up and threw them across the room. She then proceeded to say that what he asked wasn't cool.

"That is brutal, I can't believe you just came out with that," Perrie said.

Fifth Harmony

The interviewer asked: "So if somebody in your crew were to act a fool and hoe it up a little, would anybody here call them out?" Then Camila Cabello gave the perfect answer.

“We feel like we, as women, aren’t in the position to be telling other women what to do and what not to do,” Camila said.

Lorde

When this reporter rudely asked Lorde whether she'd be able to keep up her success or if it would go "downhill" from there, she was (understandably) annoyed.

"What sort of question is that? You’re the one with your bow tie hanging off!" she said.

These guys definitely didn't expect to be asked about whether or not their film would include inappropriate things like sex and drugs.

“This is a family press conference, by the way…” Harry said.

“What an imaginative question,” Louis added.

When her interviewers brought up the subject of how she always writes about her exes, this was her response.

“I think, frankly, that’s a very sexist angle to take. No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars” she said.

A reporter asked her what she was looking for in the next man, assuming that she was on the lookout for a new guy. However, Rihanna gave the best response.

"I'm not looking for a man, let's start there," she said.

It was pretty clear that Nicki’s interviewers didn’t come prepared for the interview, so when they admitted they’d never watched her music video, she wasn’t happy.

“How are you gonna ask me about a video and you haven't even seen it? The video is four minutes!” she said.

“Do you think that I would answer anything but yes to that question? Do you think I would be like ‘No, it’s not time for women to be in movies, let’s take it back 50 years’,” she said.

When the interviewer brought up the fact that Brad was voted the sexiest man in the world, he and Ryan weren’t too thrilled to talk about it.

“What is this, a slumber party? I feel like we should be getting pedicures and watching Beaches if we’re gonna have this conversation,” Ryan said.
