It’s official, Charli D’Amelio is adding author to her already impressive resume! Yep, on Tuesday, August 25, the TikTok star took to Instagram and announce that her own book, Essentially Charli, is on the way.

“I am so excited to finally announce that I wrote a book! This official guide to staying positive and navigating social media has lots of real talk and comes with a cute bonus sticker sheet!” the 16-year-old captioned a photo of the book cover, which features the internet star smiling while holding up her signature peace signs. 

Available for preorder now, the book officially drops on December 1, 2020, so be sure to mark your calendars!

What can fans expect once Essentially Charli officially hits bookshelves, you ask? Well, according to People, the book will “feature intimate details of her life, including how she stays positive in the face of cyberbullying.” That’s right, the influencer is getting real!

“We’ve been longtime admirers of Charli for her infectious confidence, killer dance moves, and astronomical ascent to fame,” Anne Heltzel, ABRAMS Children’s Books Executive Editor, wrote in a press release, according to the publication. “We loved getting to know her while working on this book — not only as a rare talent, but also as an endlessly interesting young woman — and we know her readers will too.”

People also reported that the book is set to “walk readers through how to navigate social media presences and digital friendships while developing a confident and a strong identity.”

As fans know, since her rise to fame on the video sharing app, Charli has become a total superstar. She first went viral on TikTok back in November 2019, and has racked up over 82.5 million followers who are seriously obsessed with her dance videos. In March 2020, she took over the top spot as the most followed creator on TikTok and her platform has continued growing since then. We can’t to get our hands on a copy of Essentially Charli come December!
