We know it’s impossible to believe, you guys – but The Cheetah Girls premiered 15 years ago to this day. Yep, that’s right. It’s been well over a decade since the the Disney Channel Original Movie premiered on August 15, 2003. The movie obviously went on to become an iconic franchise – and looking back, there’s a reason why. The Cheetah Girls was more than a super fun TV-movie filled with singing and dancing. It was empowering. With songs like “Girl Power,” “Together We Can” and “Cinderella” – Galleria, Chanel, Dorinda, and Aqua truly embodied the driven, bosslady mindset to follow your dreams by working hard.

Isn’t it crazy to think that back in 2003, when the movie first aired, the cast didn’t realize just how much the movie would blow up? That’s why we’re honoring this very sacred day in DCOM history by throwing it back to the OG New York premiere of the movie. You bet the cast was there to celebrate the launch of their upcoming DCOM, and soon they’d find out just how legendary it would become.
