Our girl is back! Chloe Lukasiak is set to appear on Dance Moms season 8 but, get ready for it because Chloe and her mom, Christi Lukasiak, are already spilling the tea on some major drama that’s about to unfold. Of course, the drama involves Abby Lee Miller and is anyone surprised at all? The Dance Moms matriarch is currently serving time behind bars so this will be her last set of episodes. That doesn’t mean she’s holding anything back, though.

Christi and Chloe chatted with PEOPLE magazine about the whole thing. Christi said, “What’s always the source of the drama? It’s Abby. She’s a strong personality and it’s difficult to stand up to her.” And she sure is. Over the past couple of years, many of the original Dance Moms girls have left the show because of the nonsense. Chloe was actually one of them. She abruptly left the show in season 4 but now admits she knew she would always be back.

Chloe explained, “I really didn’t even think I was leaving [season 4]. I figured we would go back the next season, and then I left and I never came back. It felt very unfinished for me, I needed closure.” Finally, fans of the show will see Chloe make her big return. Unfortunately, Maddie Ziegler, who she was always pitted against in the beginning seasons won’t be there to welcome her. Maddie left the show last season and has gone on to work on other projects.
But, just because they may have grown apart doesn’t mean Chloe doesn’t think of her old friend often. Chloe said of her friendship with Maddie, “It was a little bit difficult at first because our schedules were super grueling and we really didn’t see each other a lot. Unfortunately, we fell out of touch whenever I left, and she left and we all did our own thing…I recently saw her at Nia [Frazier’s] birthday party and we caught up a bit. We exchanged numbers, and I think maybe when I’m in L.A. soon again well try to meet up. I miss Maddie. She’s really great and I’m really proud of everything she’s doing. I’m really happy for her.” Aww!
While Maddie and Chloe’s possible reunion will probably be kept off cameras, there will be no shortage of drama when she comes face to face with Abby.
