Fans are sending their love and support to the Grimmie family as they are dealing with another heartbreaking loss. The mother of late singer Christina Grimmie, Tina, has sadly passed away at the age of 59. Mamma Grimmie, as she was often sweetly called by Christina's fans, had been battling cancer for years – and while she was going through her own challenges, she always made time to honor her daughter and help others, something the Grimmie family pointed out in the heartfelt statement they released regarding Tina's passing.
"We are saddened to announce the loss of our beloved Tina, also affectionately known as 'Mama Grimmie' to the millions of fans of Christina Grimmie around the world. She will be missed immensely," the family shared on Twitter along with a message asking those who want to send flowers to instead consider donating to the Christina Grimmie Foundation in Tina's honor. The foundation provides support and help to families "who have lost a loved one to gun violence, or have a member diagnosed with breast cancer."

A beautiful tribute video was also shared on Christina's Instagram account that perfectly captures Tina's spirit and how much she was loved by her daughter, son, and husband.
Tina has died two years after Christina was tragically taken from the world at just 22 years old when she was shot signing autographs for fans after a concert she had just played in Florida. The music world was rocked by this devastating loss – and during a time of tragedy, Christina's fans and family decided to rise above and try to heal by giving back and helping others, something Christina most definitely would've wanted. Both women will forever be missed, and our thoughts go out to the Grimmie family during this time.
