Well, this was unexpected! YouTube star Colleen Ballinger is already married, and it happened longer ago than you might think. Yep, that’s right. The 32-year-old (also known as Miranda Sings) said “I do” to her longtime bae Erik Stocklin in 2018, and she waited until the very end of the year to announce it.
The comedian took to YouTube to spill the news in a video titled “2018 was hard,” which she uploaded on Dec. 29, 2018. “I got pregnant, and engaged and married all in the same year. Oops, forgot to tell you that,” Colleen casually said.
The Haters Back Off actress also took to Instagram to share a photo of her little fam, and our hearts are seriously bursting.
“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be on New Years Eve. Love these boys more than anything! Happy New Year everyone!” she wrote alongside the polaroid picture, which she posted on Jan. 1.
The couple welcomed a baby boy together in December 2018 after announcing they were expecting in June. The name? Flynn Timothy Stocklin. So cute! The star took to YouTube to share how they came up with the name.
“His first, middle, and last name are all family names that mean a lot to us,” she explained. “Flynn is Eric’s middle name, his dad’s middle name, and it’s his great, great, great, grandfather’s last name. It was something that we thought was really cool and exciting, to pass down a name that’s been passed down for so many generations in his family. We think it’s cool and different.”
JoJo Siwa, who’s one of Colleen’s friends, recently dished to J-14 exclusively how she found out the couple was expecting.
“It was my birthday actually, and she was like ‘I wanna come see you, I have to drop off your present,’” she told us. “So then Colleen came over, and she was really weird. She was shaky and she got nervous. You could just tell something was off.”
2018 sure was a big year for this fam, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
