Some of David Dobrik‘s biggest fans are outraged over the way the YouTube star eats oranges. Yep, that’s right, the famed blogger posted a video to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 21, which showed him biting into the fruit just like an apple, and the internet went wild over it!
“Does the way I bite into this orange make you angry?” the internet star captioned the now-viral clip.
As it turned out, yes, the entire fruit-eating situation made a few people feel some type of way.
“David Dobrik bites into his oranges like an apple… He better Venmo me $1,000 before I call the authorities,” one fan posted on Twitter upon seeing the video. Another tagged the YouTuber and added, “You should go to jail after the way you ate that orange.”
A third person asked, “What kind of f**king psychopath eats an orange like that?!?!” alongside the clip.
Some other Twitter users even claimed that they no longer wanted to be fans of David because of the entire situation!
“It’s official… @DavidDobrik and I are breaking up. I can’t tolerate the way he bit into that orange. Thank you for being understanding and giving us both the space and time we need to heal through this difficult time. The end,” someone said. Another posted, “Hey! Just wanna let you know if [you] bite into an orange like that one more time I’m unfollowing, unsubscribing, and turning all notifications off.”
Out of all the outraged fans commenting on how David ate the fruit, there were a few who seemed completely unbothered.
“We eat oranges the same way,” someone stated.
As of now, the influencer has yet to respond to his fan’s backlash, but it looked like he didn’t have plans to change his eating habits any time soon. We seriously hope he didn’t lose too many fans over this hilarious situation!
