From the sound of it, the former Dance Moms stars didn’t have the best experiences while shooting the reality show years ago. That’s right, dancers — like JoJo Siwa and Kenzie Ziegler — took to TikTok recently, and opened up about their “traumatic” time on the series.

“You think you can hurt my feelings? I was on Dance Moms,” JoJo captioned a video of herself, while the song “Bulletproof” played in the background. She also added statements that said she was “made fun of 24/7 for my hairline,” got called “a giant toddler” and “had strangers shout awful things” at her in public.

Then, Kenzie made a similar video, which Brooke Hyland dueted on the app and added.

Chloe Lukasiak — who claimed everything that was fake on the show back in January 2019 — also spoke out about her time on the series in a TikTok. According the video’s caption, it “was so traumatizing” for her. Finally, Nia Sioux also posted a clip, which she captioned with, “You think you can hurt my feelings? I was the only black girl on Dance Moms.”

For those who missed it, Nia’s comment came two months after former Dance Moms star Adriana Smith accused Abby Lee Miller of being a “racist” towards her and her daughter, Kamryn Smith. She spoke out about her experience on Season 8, addressed her decision to leave the show and recalled a racially insensitive remark made by Abby Lee. The choreographer then apologized to her former costar in an Instagram post and promised to “educate myself, learn, grow, and do better.”

In a response, Adriana reposted the apology on her own page and added, “At this time, I do not accept Abby’s apology because her apology was not sincere.”
