Nothing but well wishes and huge congratulations are in order for David Henrie and his fiancé, Maria Cahill. After secretly announcing their engagement earlier this year, the two have wasted no time in getting married. The couple tied the knot on Friday, April 21st in California.

David shared this amazing picture of himself and his beautiful bride. He wrote, "I couldn't be happier 🙂 marriage is the most beautiful thing. DEO GRATIAS! Link in bio for the story via @people @christineskariphotography killed it!"

The former Wizards of Waverly Place star spoke to People exclusively before he walked down the aisle and said, “You always hear you should marry your best friend, and I actually get to do it. You don’t meet girls like her every day.”

How sweet! Aside from it of course being one of the happiest days of his life, it was also a day where his television family reunited. Yes, the entire WoWP cast was there including Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, and Selena Gomez – who was the first person the actor told about his engagement. “[Selena] was one of the first people I told I was getting married. She was like, ‘I’m in. Whenever it is, I’ll be there,” he said.

TEARS. As it turns out the “It Ain’t Me” singer was actually going to perform a song for the newlyweds at the reception but, “as it got closer, I was like ‘No, just relax and enjoy the evening.’ But it very well might [happen spontaneously],” the actor continued to say.

How epic would that be? Most importantly, if she were to spontaneously sing at the reception – would it be one of her hits? Maybe a cover song?

Marriage and future plans were just part of the conversations the on-screen siblings had back when they spent their days filming the hit Disney Channel series. David explained by admitting that even back then, they all assumed he would be the first to tie the knot. “No one bet on Jake [T. Austin] and I didn’t bet on Selena [Gomez]. I probably bet on myself. I always knew I wanted to get married and looked forward to being a husband,” he said.

How sweet! Congratulations once more to David and Maria on their special day!
