Ariana Grande released a statement earlier this week announcing the details for her upcoming One Love Manchester benefit concert that is taking place this upcoming weekend. The names of the stars who will also be joining the "Dangerous Woman" singer on stage and it will surely be a star-studded event filled with performers who are ready to give their all to honor the victims of the heinous attack that took place at Manchester Arena on May 22.

It was announced that Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, British boy band Take That will be performing that night but Demi Lovato was clearly missing from the lineup.

A fan that goes by the username @whitivato shared a post of the artists' names and said, "Why will Demi not participate? She sent beautiful messages of support."

According to a screenshot of the comments section, Demi replied to the post saying, "Cause I wasn't asked."

The messages of support that Demi wrote following the tragedy, said "Tearing up imagining innocent concert goers losing their lives.. praying for everyone and all #arianators."

Some fans in the comments are saying that this is not the time to deflect the attention from the real issue and try to make a problem between Ariana and Demi. While Demi replied saying she was not invited to participate, it would have been possible for her to reach out to Ari to be part of the show before publicly commenting on the situation.

On the other hand, Niall Horan revealed in a recent interview that the singer called him to ask him if he would like to be involved in the show.

โ€œIโ€™m good friends with Ari and she called me up and asked me would I get involved. Straight away, obviously for obvious reasons, not because Iโ€™m friends with her, I wanted to get involved. Itโ€™s going to be a great cause to raise a lot of money for a terrible thing that happened. Iโ€™m looking forward to spending an evening with the great people of Manchester," he said during an interview at Stage 17.

Yikes! Well, we hope Demi is not upset about this and that fans do not use this as a reason to fight with each other. Both singers are great and we are sure a lot of planning went on behind the scenes to choose the acts that will be performing at One Love Manchester and it is not something anyone should take personally.
