The Dolan Twins – Ethan Dolan and Grayson Dolan – got their start as the funny brothers that basically took over Vine. Their fan base grew exponentially and then they were both collectively signed to AwesomenessTV in 2015. Not only are they hilarious but they are also super cute which works in their favor. Girls across the Internet got wind of them and literally couldn't handle seeing what kind of shenanigans this double trouble duo got into. Ethan and Grayson have something about them and their act that will make anyone fall in love. But, sadly, they aren't feeling as funny and happy on the inside as they appear to be on the outside.

We know, we know this might be the oldest cliche in the world but you really can't ever judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, you can't judge these two guys by their videos on the Internet. While usually very active on social media, Ethan has gone silent after admitting that he is mentally struggling. And this isn't the first time one of the brothers has confessed to feeling really down on themselves.

Most recently, Ethan wrote on Twitter, "I need to chill tf out. I stress myself out so much sometimes wtf is my deal."

He continued and said, "I'm done faking it I'm honestly at a really sh-tty place mentally."

Not only is Ethan really going through a tough time inside of his head, but he's also physically unwell. He wrote that he wouldn't be posting for a few days because of hand surgery. He said, "Prob not going to be able to get a video up sorry guys… just had hand surgery today and recovering. I'll be okay all good."

Judging by the comments, lots of fans had no idea he was going under the knife. They are not only questioning what is really happening but also giving their support making sure Ethan knows that his health comes before any video he could ever post. It's pretty amazing to see this kind of encouragement and positivity in the comments especially if Ethan was already in a bad state mentally.

Like we said previously, this isn't the first time the Dolan Twins have told their fans how anxiety sometimes takes over their lives. Back in November of 2016, Grayson said in a very personal video, "Sometimes I have anxiety attacks so bad that I fall on the floor and I literally can’t move and I feel like I can’t breathe and I feel like I’m gonna die."

Ethan is noticeably quiet but supportive of his brother's open and honest confession. We're hoping that Ethan can now be just as open. He's given fans a lot to question with his most recent tweets and the fact that he's gone completely radio silent on social media is a bit worrisome. Our fingers are crossed that his next video gives some sort of explanation for all of this. We're thinking of Ethan during this difficult time as he tries to get his physical and mental health back on a better path.
