Descendants 2 co-stars Dove Cameron and China Anne McClain are not in a feud, and Dove wants everyone to stop asking. In fact, the two are super close IRL and definitely don't have any hard feelings whatsoever. Come on, why would they?! The D2 squad is honestly like family. In a recent series of tweets, Dove set the record straight and had the ultimate screenshot to prove it. It all started when Dove responded to a now deleted tweet about her and China's relationship.
"…lol @chinamcclain and i could not love each other more? she's mine. i don't understand lololol," Dove wrote before posting a text convo between herself and China on Twitter, which shows that the co-stars share quite a few audio messages. We don't know about you, but we've never heard of enemies talking 24/7. So yeah, looks like proof they're basically besties.
"like i know we're not meant to respond to rumors, but fr…y'all are silly asf," Dove wrote, tagging her girl China.
That wasn't all though. She went on to explain that she doesn't have time to be shady even if she wanted to be – which obviously she doesn't.
"also: don't have enough energy to be shady to anyone. much less, someone who i love. like, no. how boring. how basic. goodbye. happy sunday," the Liv and Maddie star added.
China then replied to Dove's tweet, clearing seeming so incredibly confused over this fake drama that came out of legit nowhere.
"LOL wait where did this come from? I love myself some @DoveCameron????," the Disney Channel actress responded in a series of tweets. "I LOVE my #MCCLAINIACS . But Dove and I are cool. ? How about Descendants 2 tho #ShamelessPlug ??."
So there you have it! Perhaps people want to believe Dove and China have a feud like Mal and Uma but that is simply not the case. They're totally cool, you guys.
