It looks like Dove Cameron is not here for people hating on her body! Yep, the actress just clapped back at fans who claimed she was “too skinny,” and her response was everything.
The Descendants star shared a few snaps to her Instagram on Monday, August 24 from a recent road trip that she took. But when one picture showed the 24-year-old in a bikini, some people felt she looked “unhealthy.”
“She’s too skinny [not going to lie], it looks great on the [one] hand but fricking unhealthy on the other,” one user commented, to which the blonde beauty replied, “I am not unhealthy, thank you.”
“Dove you look so skinny go eat some food,” another fan wrote.
“Outta here with that energy,” the Liv and Maddie alum fired back.
As fans know, the comments come just days after Dove debuted a brand new tattoo, which some people are convinced is an ode to Harry Styles! Why? Well, the new ink design, which is located on her finger, says “She,” which, as fans know, is the name of one of the One Direction member’s songs!
The singer’s clap back also went down a few days after she opened up about her bisexuality, while discussing her latest song, “We Belong.”
For those who missed it, the tune came out on July 23, 2020, and it is set to be featured in the upcoming After sequel, After We Collided. And on August 7, 2020, Dove chatted with the author of the book series the movies were inspired by, Anna Todd, during an Instagram Live. During their livestream, she got real about the lyric video for the new song, which showed two women kissing, two men kissing, and a man and woman kissing.
“I think that’s really beautiful, speaking as someone who is bi. I didn’t want my art and my visuals to only reflect heterosexual couples,” the former Disney actress explained.
