The annual Coachella music festival is a time when celebrities go a little wild with their style, makeup and even hair choices. It’s all part of the vibe of the weekend, and of course it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to see that none other than Dove Cameron decided to shed her signature blonde locks, for a much pinker surprise for the festival.
Yes, the Liv and Maddie star has gone pink! The actress didn’t make a huge fuss about her new beauty look either, only subtly showing it off all over Instagram and Snapchat as she hung with her bestie, Kiersey Clemons.

One of the first hints about the new look came from her Instagram story, where the actress shared a picture of the two on their way to the festival. There, it’s easy to see that the pink in her hair slightly resembles the shade of millennial pink that’s all the rage this season.
Dove also shared a group picture of herself, Kiersey, Colton Tran, and Ryan Adamés on Instagram as they geared up for the festival and captioned it, “?mine?.”

She then followed up that post by sharing a picture of her entire day one, Coachella look which involved a blue dress, black boots, a statement necklace (designed by her mother), and the new pink hair which she styled with a few scattered braids. Dove wrote, “thank u @hm ☀️ this is what i feel like on the inside 24/7.”
Kiersey also shared a sweet Boomerang clip of the two on Instagram, sharing a hug.
Dove hasn’t shared whether or not her blonde locks will return as soon as the Coachella festivities comes to an end, but the pink looks amazing and fits in perfectly with summer’s vibe. It’s something she should totally consider keeping around, even if for just a few extra days.
