Is Dove Cameron OK? The actress just revealed that she’s super sick with something called tracheitis, and fans are seriously worried.
“Guess who has acute tracheitis,” the 23-year-old wrote on Instagram on Thursday, June 27, quickly sending fans into a panic.
For those of you that don’t know, tracheitis is defined as an inflammation of your throat and it’s usually the result of a nose or throat infection. We can all breathe a sigh of relief though because as painful as it is, it’s not particularly life threatening. Still, no fan likes to see their idol in any sort of pain, so we’re all hoping she gets better ASAP!
But don’t worry, you guys, because the blonde beauty has her boyfriend, Thomas Doherty, taking good care her. She shared an adorable snap of him tying her shoes for her, which she captioned, “always lookin’ after me.”
OUR HEARTS. Naturally, fans were quick to flood the Descendants star with messages of support.
“Guess who’s a strong women and will get through this — you. Get well soon [baby],” one fan wrote, while another added, “OH NO MY BABY! Go to sleep! Right now! As much as you can!”
Awww. “Even when your sick you look perfect,” a third fan pointed out.
Agreed! And this unfortunately isn’t the first time Dove’s been under the weather recently. She’s currently starring in the musical The Light in the Piazza on London’s West End, and on opening night, she revealed she was suffering from a vicious chest cold.
“My voice is wrecked, otherwise I would have come out to say hello. Nothing like a chest cold to kick off a run!” she tweeted to a fan after the show.

As fans know, Dove’s been working pretty hard recently. Besides starring in the musical, she’s also been hard at work on her music, and gearing up for the premiere of her new movie, Descendants 3! We hope she’s not pushing herself too hard. Remember, Dove, health always comes first!
