Former Disney stars Dylan Riley Snyder and Allisyn Ashley Arm are engaged, and TBH, we still can’t get over it! The Kickin’ It star proposed to the Sonny with a Chance actress over the holidays, and they took to Instagram on Jan. 1 with the good news. What an amazing start to the new year!
With several incredible years of their relationship behind them already, we just know these two are absolutely made for each other. That’s why we decided to take a look back at the adorable couple’s journey so far. Check it out!
2014
Although we highly doubt that Dylan and Allisyn were officially dating back in 2014, it seems to be the year these two really connected. How do we know? Well, because it’s the first time one of them showed up on the other’s Instagram, of course! Sure, it’s a group shot, but what you’re looking at are the beginnings of what later blossomed into an incredible romance.
2015
Fast forward to 2015, and that’s when the magic started happening. The two former Disney stars, who likely crossed paths back in 2011 while working on Kickin’ It and So Random!, began to show up on each other’s Insta feeds way more often. Who’s complaining? Not us!
That same year, they even worked together on Allisyn’s web series, Astrid Clover, so clearly they make a great team.
Come October, we started to see a different side of the couple. That’s right! The couple dressed up as Urban Outfitters employees and showed the most minor PDA on the actor’s Instagram. Still, we were living for it, and truth be told, we still are.
We mean, seriously, look how adorable they are! Plus, you know things are getting serious when you visit each other’s hometowns!
2016
Although a dating timeline usually includes at least some drama, Dylan and Allisyn’s relationship appears to have been smooth sailing from the start. Their same lovey-dovey posts continued into 2016, but if we’re being totally honest, this is probably the year they truly embodied what it means to be “couple goals.”
It was also the first time she referred to him as her boyfriend on the app, which is a BIG deal!
In October, they even dropped the “L” word. Well, at least on Instagram.
And like every amazing couple, the two continued to cheer each other on. We STAN a supportive relationship!
2017
If you’re not fully convinced that they’re the cutest couple to ever come out of Disney, 2017 will change that. The duo kicked the year off by celebrating Dylan’s birthday, and just a few weeks later, Valentine’s Day, of course!
It seemed like a year full of celebrations. For example, the Sonny with a Chance star even celebrated Thanksgiving in Alabama with his family. We told you they’re the real deal!
Obviously, they took some more PDA-filled pics, but spared us the inevitable cheesy caption.
In true “couple goals” fashion, they topped the year off in — wait for it — HAWAII!
2018
2018 turned out to be a huge year for the couple, because — SPOILER ALERT — it’s when they got engaged. NGL, they’re totally soulmates, but you’re also probably wondering what went down between the pair in the year leading up to their engagement. Well, for starters, there was a lot more PDA. They even went to Westhampton, NY to spend time with her family!
This time around, they closed out the year in Antigua.
Anyways, we all knew where this was headed, and now, the couple is engaged to be married! *Swoon*
Like you, we’re so excited for this beautiful couple, and although they probably haven’t even started thinking about wedding plans, we’ll be waiting with bated breath for them to spill some tea about their upcoming nuptials on Instagram. In the meantime, congrats!
