In case you haven't heard (do you live under a rock??), Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have been feuding for some time now.

It all started when a few of Taylor Swift's backing dancers (and friends) left her tour to go on Katy's — something that they supposedly put in their contract and asked to do but were fired when the time came to leave.

Queue Taylor releasing "Bad Blood," where she ponders whether the two were ever even real friends.

THREE YEARS LATER, we finally have a response from Katy in the form of "Swish Swish." But boy were those three years worth it, Katy goes HARD.

Of course, KP has now apologized to Taylor, and we're all patiently waiting for her to accept or reject…that'll probably be at the end of this year when her new album drops.

In the meantime, we'll have to settle for Ed Sheeran's opinion on it all. He's remained surprisingly mute throughout the beef, but apparently that's because he didn't think she needed him chiming in.

He told People, "I don’t think she needs that at all. I don’t think feud songs are a hot thing – there’s always been beef songs. It’s mainly been like Carly Simon."

But wait…what about "Don't"…you know, that MAJORLY savage song about Ellie Goulding? Has he forgot he wrote that? And he wrote "Love Yourself" for Justin Bieber, we don't even wanna know who that's about.

Maybe Taylor just got some better diss track advice from Carly Simon, the "You're So Vain" legend, and Ed is secretly jealous? Who knows, but from the way Ed writes, we think Taylor could need him if she wants to come back against "Swish Swish."
