Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are the very definition of a friendly breakup. The former costars dated for about four years before ultimately calling it quite some time during 2015.

Since the split, the former couple has been running into one another within the last few months through various awards ceremonies held this awards season. Each time they do see one another, well – they give fans another reason to hope they were still somehow together.

The first time either one of them gushed about the other after the split, was when Emma admitted in an interview that she still very much loves Andrew. He then followed up months later by admitting he felt the exact same way about his ex during a different interview that had us all wondering why they were no longer together.

This was all followed up with a friendly exchange the two had publicly during an awards luncheon, and who can forget Andrew giving Emma a standing ovation when she won The Golden Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy for her role in the acclaimed La La Land?

Now the two are taking things one-step further in the world of friendly exes by sharing a sweet hug when they ran into one another at the in BAFTA Nespresso Nominees' Party held in England on Saturday.

Although Andrew attended the event solo, and Emma was accompanied by her La La Land director, Damien Chazelle it’s nice to see that the two were able to find a few minutes during the chaos of the event to check in with one another.

Given how The Academy Awards ceremony is just a few weeks away and both are nominated for this prestigious award, we are certain this isn’t going to be the last time the two cross paths until then.

Though can you imagine just how Andrew would react if Emma did pick up The Academy Award for Best Actress or what she would do if he won for Best Actor?
