If you’re a fan of Fuller House and Drake & Josh, this news may be too much to handle. It’s official: Drake Bell is joining the Full House universe.
Although he didn’t go into specifics, the actor confirmed on Twitter that he is directing an episode of the Netflix reboot’s third season. He even shared a perfect behind-the-scenes pic from filming with John Stamos, who plays Uncle Jesse. (For some reason, an eggplant is involved. It’s bizarre but hilarious.)
There’s a lot of layers to this story, so let’s break it down. Multiple sitcom worlds are colliding. As you know, Drake played one of the titular characters on his Nickelodeon show with Josh Peck.
Years later, Josh starred alongside John in their sitcom, Grandfathered — now, the actor is hanging out with his former co-star’s old comedy partner! Drake also guest-starred on the FOX show, so he’s been involved in projects with the Full House legend as well.
John even hinted that they need to bring their old buddy Josh back. Um, we wouldn’t be complaining!
