It looks like Supergirl has found love both on TV and in real life, and it just happens to be the same guy. Melissa Benoist and her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood are reportedly dating! The TV couple has taken their love outside of the screen and were spotted spending some quality time together. Rumors that they are now a couple started circulating after they were seen arriving at Los Angeles International Airport this past weekend, and he seems to even be helping her carry her suitcase. What a gentleman!

Before that, Melissa was seen walking Chris's dog, Drift and her dog Farley in Vancouver, before they both flew to LA. The two both recently ended their respective relationships and were newly single while they started working on the second season of The CW show together, and he has even posted photos of her on Instagram.
Melissa recently split up from her husband Blake Jenner late last year, who she actually met on the set Glee. Not only did they work on that show together but Blake also appeared in a couple of Supergirl episodes with her. They filed for divorce after less than two years of marriage and TMZ released court documents that showed that Blake and Melissa filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for their separation.
Just a few months ago Chris split up from his ex-girlfriend Hanna Mangan-Lawrence as well after he joined the show in its second season as Kara's love interest so it seems like the timing was just right.
Perhaps spending a lot of time with co-stars while filming TV shows brings these couples together. While they have not confirmed the relationship, if it is true we wish them the best of luck.
