After five wonderful and drama-filled seasons, The Fosters unfortunately had to come to an end. Fans were naturally bummed — but lucky for us, the Freeform spin-off Good Trouble is premiering on Tuesday, Jan. 8. So yeah, that’s a reason to celebrate!

The first teaser trailer that was released, we see Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) arriving in Los Angeles ready to live their best lives — but it won’t be smooth-sailing like they thought. Check out the first teaser below.

Who will star in Good Trouble?

It’ll star Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Tommy Martinez, Zuri Adele, Ken Kirby, Emma Hunton, Molly McCook, Sherry Cola, and Roger Bart. For guest roles, the show will bring back Teri Polo, Sherri Saum and Hayden Byerly. And yes — Noah Centineo, who rose to a new level of fame from his Netflix rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, will return. He even took to his Instagram Stories to post with his co-star Cierra Ramirez on set!

In the first look at Noah reprising his role as Jesus Adams Foster, we saw his character visiting Mariana at her new job at a fancy tech company. But he soon learns it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

What is Good Trouble about?

“When it became clear that The Fosters was coming to the end of its run – the first idea that anybody pitched was Mariana and Callie making greatness of their lives. They settle in LA, thinking they’ve got it made. And, it turns out, things are not going to be quite as perfect as they had planned,” Peter Paige, the creator and executive producer of the show, explained. “If you love The Fosters, you’re gonna love this show.”

His co-creator and executive producer, Joanna Johnson, added, “They’ve got to find out where they belong in the world.”

Wow, we’ve found our new TV obsession!
